Hi! I’m Anna Brenson, M.S., CCC-SLP.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) speech-language pathologist with almost a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings—including private practice, public and private schools, early intervention programs, and telehealth. My educational journey began at Texas State University in San Marcos, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I later went on to complete my Master’s in Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I’m nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the State of Texas, California, and Oklahoma (currently only accepting TX clients).
My passion for this field started early. As a child, I received both speech and occupational therapy—experiences that helped shape my appreciation for what meaningful, supportive intervention can do. My mother, an occupational therapist, was a constant source of inspiration and encouragement. As a teenager, I had the chance to shadow pediatric speech-language pathologists and immediately fell in love with the idea of using play as a means to help children communicate. I knew then that I wanted a career in the health professions where I could support others in living happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of needs—from toddlers working on their first words, to children developing speech sounds or navigating feeding challenges, to teens building social communication skills, and even adults recovering communication abilities after a stroke. I’m especially passionate about working with bilingual families, children with complex needs, and individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to express themselves.
My approach is inclusive, affirming, and focused on the whole person. I blend evidence-based practices with movement, play, and creativity to create sessions that are fun, functional, and built around what each child actually loves. I know that no two children are the same, so each therapy plan is thoughtfully tailored to meet their unique strengths, challenges, and communication goals. I also place a strong emphasis on caregiver involvement, because I believe progress happens when families feel empowered and supported too. Above all, I truly believe that everyone has the right to be heard—and that every person has something important and magical to share with the world. We each have a beautiful purpose, and it’s my joy and honor to help others express theirs more fully.
When I’m not in therapy sessions or managing my private practice, you can often find me teaching yoga and barre classes at our local studio and gym. I also love spending time with my husband and taking our two dogs—Rex (a Golden Pyrenees) and Kuma (a Goldendoodle)—on walks or out on our kayaks. You might also spot me at the local coffee shop or farmers market!
I’m proud to serve the Wichita Falls area and surrounding communities, including military families, bilingual/multilingual households, and anyone looking for therapy that feels human, flexible, and full of heart. If you're looking for a therapist who truly sees the whole picture and is eager to see you and/or your loved one suceed—I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
The Story Behind Pure Connections

Pure Connections was created from a simple but powerful belief: meaningful relationships are the foundation for meaningful growth. Whether we’re guiding a toddler to their first words, helping a teen build confidence in social situations, or supporting an adult preparing for a presentation—true progress begins with trust and connection. Our approach is rooted in building strong, lasting relationships with the individuals and families we serve.
The name Pure Connections is also inspired by the symbols that guide our work. The elephant represents strength, wisdom, and unity—values we strive to reflect in every session. The butterfly reminds us of the power of transformation and the unique potential within each of us. Through connection, support, and shared purpose, we help each person grow, learn, and thrive.
